Platforms are set up exclusively for women to set their own enterprise. Some of these platforms are incubators, besides, helping women with networking, marketing and finance.

WE Hub

State-led Incubator for Women Entrepreneurs under the purview of I.T E & C Department, Government of Telangana
A one stop destination and a soft-landing platform for all the women led start-ups across India
Primary goal is to promote and foster women entrepreneurship by way of incubation, access to government and building a collaborative ecosystem
Ensures that all women entrepreneurs in the country have access to technical, financial, governmental and policy support required to start-up scale up sustain and accelerate with global market access
Support for pre-incubation (ideation stage), incubation, acceleration
Programs include Urban entrepreneurship (12-week program will provide the required tools for entrepreneurs to translate their ideas into sustainable business models), social impact program, corporate innovation, earlypreneurship, strategic consulting. The eligibility for the programs is detailed under each head.

Self-Employed Women’s Association (SEWA)

SEWA helps women to be self-reliant through microentrepreneurship, collective social enterprises and women’s enterprise support system.

Mann Deshi Foundation

Based in Mann Taluka of Satara district, aim is to empower rural women entrepreneurs with the knowledge, skills and access to capital and support to have more control over their personal and professional lives.

Create new and customised credit products and services specifically for rural women

Provide doorstep banking services Deshi MBA is a year-long intensive course that enables women micro-entrepreneurs to examine and strengthen their financial, planning, inventory, marketing and accounting systems.
Participants attend workshops, visit successful businesses, attend market fairs and are supported by a mentor who guides them throughout the year.

Women Entrepreneurs Platform (WEP)

This is set up by NITI Aayog, GOI. The Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP) is a first of its kind, unified access portal which brings together women from different parts of India to build a nurturing ecosystem that enables them to realize their entrepreneurial aspirations. WEP achieves this by facilitating relevant information and services through key partnerships.

As an aggregator platform, WEP hosts information and services relevant to women entrepreneurs. WEP enables key partnerships to bring crucial content, workshops, campaigns and other avenues of learning and growth to its users from trailblazers in the industry. Through its partnerships, services are provided in 6 main focus areas:

Farmer Producers Organisations (FPOs)

There are various FPOs across India to help farmers, rural households engaged in animal husbandry or poultry.

Jeevan Sangini Krishi Vikas Women Farmer Produce Company
Located in Talani village, in Buldana in Maharashtra state, this FPO has helped women holding upto 3500 hectares in cultivating the cotton, soybean, maize and tur dhal.

Located in Mhasawad, Satara District, Western Maharashtra, the objectives of this FPO is to give the farmer greater bargaining power through the farm- to- market value chain by restructuring of agriculture market and to set up a cold storage as a part of central programmes to minimize wastage for farmers and save produce the next market. Aaranyak Agri Producer Company Limited (AAPCL)
Located in Bihar, this FPO helps with agricultural and animal husbandry service activities except veterinary activities. This is not restricted to women.

Samridhi Mahila Crop Producer Company Limited
Located Kota district, Jaipur, Rajasthan, the objective is to help women farmers earn a living and creating awareness among farmers on how best to start their own agricultural enterprise.

Apni Saheli Producer Company Limited
This FPO is located in Dholpur, Rajasthan. It works as a cooperative for the purpose of low-cost lending for its members, apart from equipping them with requisite training in the cultivation process. Its services include dairy, vegetables, crop procurement right up to fisheries and goat farming.

Shreeja Mahila Milk Producer Company
It is located in Tirupati and helps with procuring, pooling, processing and marketing of milk.

Mulukanoor Women Mutually Aided Milk Producer Cooperative Union Limited
Located in Warangal, the objective of this FPO is to improve overall quality of life to dairy producers & consumers by running a sustainable self-sufficient and managed women cooperative union.

Savitri Bai Phule Goat Farming Producer Company
This FPO is located in Nashik, Maharashtra and creates awareness and helps with intervention affordable technology in goat farming.

Maitree Mahila Dairy and Agriculture Producer Company Limited
Located in Rajasthan, the objective of this FPO is to empower local people, especially women marginalized groups and support them in improving their own lives.

Saahaj Milk Producer Company Limited
Located in Agra, the objective of this FPO is to carry on business of purchasing and processing of milk and milk products.

Sakhi Mahila Milk Producer Company
Located in Alwar, Rajasthan, the objective of this FPO is to carry on the business of pooling, purchasing, processing of milk supplied by the members, to provide technical and managerial services in the area of breeding, fodder, veterinary services to increase milk production for the benefit of the members and to provide education, training and other activities to promote mutual assistance amongst the members and arrange to procure quality milk from the members meet the standards laid down by the company and the statutory authority.

Rudi Multi Trading Company Limited
Located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, the objective of this FPO is to strengthen small women farmers by setting up rural distribution network.

Devbhumi Natural Products Producer Company Limited
Located in Deharadun, Uttarakhand, the objective of this FPO is to support the rural producers in production, processing and marketing of Himalayan products such as hand woven natural silk fabrics- Himalayan oak tasar, Eri and mulberry silk, certified organic and non-organic honey and milk products.

Hand holding agencies

The present basket of 17000+ handholding agencies with SIDBI shall now also have a pool of Certified Credit counsellors (CCC) who shall facilitate access to credit to existing and potential entrepreneurs at all stages of business cycle, be it setup or step-up including expansion, diversification and even exit or setting up new enterprise.

Mentor Enablers for Women Entrepreneurs (Me4WE)

A group of women employees of SIDBI and some successful women entrepreneurs have volunteered to help women entrepreneurs approaching the portal as part of the me4WE (mentor enablers for women entrepreneurs).

Swavalamban Sankalp

An Opportunity for SC-ST aspirants to kick start their Entrepreneurial Journey to become “स्वावलंबी” – a Job Giver Instead of Job Seeker.

TiE Women

TiE Women have special pitch days for women and may win equity free prize money. Additionally, women entrepreneurs can benefit from mentoring, investor access, networking, have a global platform to show case their products, and learning through sessions and events. Women entrepreneurs can approach the regional TiE to pitch.

Wing – Women Rise Together

Realising the impact of mobilising the untapped aptitude of women entrepreneurs in the country, Startup India initiative of Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Govt. of India, has designed a unique program called WING- Women Rise Together, to identify, support, and celebrate women entrepreneurs in India. This program rolled out in partnership with Kerala Startup Mission and Let’s Venture in South India, aims to support women entrepreneurs through workshops and access to incubation, investors and various business support services.

Women Entrepreneurs Forum 

This is an initiative by India SME Forum for women entrepreneurs. Members can access ideas, opportunities, domain knowledge, skills & training, best practices. They can benefit from regular networking meets and knowledge sharing events. They can also access mentoring, expert advice, financing, support of business, marketing and branding. They can also make business connections, meet vendors and potential customers.

Udyogini

Udyogini works with the most vulnerable and marginalised women to empower them economically. At present, they are operating in Chhattisgarh. Madhya Pradesh. Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, and Rajasthan. They help with skill building and training and access to government schemes

Indian Women Institutional League (IWIL)

IWIL facilitates a platform for budding women entrepreneurs with the help of incubation, training, networking and funding.

Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Karnataka (AWAKE)

AWAKE helps women to develop as entrepreneurs, in rural as well as urban areas. Beginning with business counselling, it trains women in skills development, offers incubation, provides managerial knowledge and support through annual meets, networking, awards and access to their research centre.

Kudumbashree Mission (Kerala)

Kudumbashree is the poverty eradication and women empowerment program implemented by the State Poverty Eradication Mission (SPEM) of the Government of Kerala. Kudumbashree membership is open to all adult women, limited to one membership per family. Their programs cover a wide range of activities. Sthreeshakthi portal helps women become computer and technology savvy. Kudumbashree provides access to finance for women entrepreneurs from the rural areas.

Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM)

DAY-NULM addresses livelihood concerns of the urban street vendors by facilitating access to suitable spaces, institutional credit, social security and skills to the urban street vendors for accessing emerging market opportunities.

WEE Foundation

The foundation trains women in entrepreneurship every six months. Step by step guidance is provided to strengthen and validate the business idea. Women entrepreneurs are connected to potential investors and buyers for their products so that they can take their business idea to a financially sustainable enterprise. It is funded by India’s Dept of Science & Technology.

Women Entrepreneurs India

Women Entrepreneurs India provides the right tools that help in the starting up and expansion of businesses, run by women entrepreneurs. It aims to create the required platform for idea exchange, business advising, entrepreneurship awareness, development, marketing support, mentorship opportunities, etc, which can help in the professional growth of the businesses.
