There are various funding options for women entrepreneurs. A few banks offer loans at reasonable rates of interest. There are institutions like SIDBI which encourage MSMEs.  Venture capitalists are ready to fund projects led by women entrepreneurs.

MSME loans

SIDBI is a lender aggregator platform. A borrower has options of lenders to choose from and apply for financial assistance online. The financial assistance may be in form of loans (capital or for working capital), or in form of bills discounting.

SVANidhi 

Working capital loans upto Rs 10,000 for street vendors , for setting up infrastructure in animal husbandry, dairy processing, meat processing and animal feed to incentivize investments by individual entrepreneurs, private companies, farmers producers organizations (FPOs) and Section 8 companies.

SAHA Fund

SAHA Fund promotes women in industry, women focused products and services and companies that employ a majority of workforce as women or that are creating a service or a product for women.

She Capital

She Capital is an early-stage fund that is enabling the next generation of high growth female focussed business to scale. Their investment critieria includes that the companies have at least one female co-founder, or an executive with an equity interest and an operating role.

CXXO

An initiative of Kalaari Capital, aimed at offering seed and Series A funding with a ticket size of $500,000 to $5 million besides helping women entrepreneurs with bespoke support and the right network.

Animal Husbandry infrastructure Development Fund

This fund was established by Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, GOI to incentivize investments by individual entrepreneurs, private companies, farmers producers organizations (FPOs) and section 8 companies to establish dairy processing and product diversification infrastructure, meat processing and product diversification infrastructure and Animal feed plant.

Union Nari Shakti Scheme

Term loans and working capital loans are available for all women owned and managed MSMEs engaged in manufacture or production, processing or preservation of goods or enterprises engaged in providing or rendering of services or engaged in trading activity. Units with partner’s capital/ share capital in case of private/ public limited companies of minimum 51% with women shall be considered as units owned by women. Women Self Help Group (SHG) having valid Udyam Registration Certificate are also eligible for loans under this scheme.

PNB Mahila Udyam Nidhi Scheme

Support is offered to women entrepreneurs for setting up of new projects in tiny /small scale sector and rehabilitation of viable sick SSI units. Existing tiny and small-scale industrial units and service industries undertaking expansion, modernization technology up gradation & diversification can also be considered.

Cent Kalyani

Central Bank of India offers financial assistance to women entrepreneurs to start new project or expand their micro / small businesses, be it in manufacturing or service industry, or a professional or self-employed.

Pradhan Mantri Rozgar Yojana

The Pradhan Mantri Rozgar Yojana is a financial aid program for female entrepreneurs. Women in all sectors, new businesses, and services can benefit from this yojana.Women’s self-employment is the primary emphasis of this initiative, which offers loans to help them become financially independent.
