There are various funding options for women entrepreneurs. A few banks offer loans at reasonable rates of interest. There are institutions like SIDBI which encourage MSMEs. Venture capitalists are ready to fund projects led by women entrepreneurs.
SIDBI is a lender aggregator platform. A borrower has options of lenders to choose from and apply for financial assistance online. The financial assistance may be in form of loans (capital or for working capital), or in form of bills discounting.

Animal Husbandry infrastructure Development Fund
This fund was established by Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, GOI to incentivize investments by individual entrepreneurs, private companies, farmers producers organizations (FPOs) and section 8 companies to establish dairy processing and product diversification infrastructure, meat processing and product diversification infrastructure and Animal feed plant.
Term loans and working capital loans are available for all women owned and managed MSMEs engaged in manufacture or production, processing or preservation of goods or enterprises engaged in providing or rendering of services or engaged in trading activity. Units with partner’s capital/ share capital in case of private/ public limited companies of minimum 51% with women shall be considered as units owned by women. Women Self Help Group (SHG) having valid Udyam Registration Certificate are also eligible for loans under this scheme.
Support is offered to women entrepreneurs for setting up of new projects in tiny /small scale sector and rehabilitation of viable sick SSI units. Existing tiny and small-scale industrial units and service industries undertaking expansion, modernization technology up gradation & diversification can also be considered.
Central Bank of India offers financial assistance to women entrepreneurs to start new project or expand their micro / small businesses, be it in manufacturing or service industry, or a professional or self-employed.
